Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit 10/12/05

When a movie's about Vegetables and Rabbits, it's a double pleasure to label it Fresh. And that's exactly what this very PG movie is. Wallace and Gromit head up a Anti-Pesto squad whose specialty is the humane capture of rabbits so the town can peacefully have a giant Vegetable Party. (What the town exists for literally.) But trouble always finds it's way into a picture and soon The Anti-Pesto squad is soon fighting a giant rabbit. A were rabbit to be exact, which howls at the moon in perfect accordance with all the other rabbits. This is handled so well, that I'm sure that adults and children alike will find it exquisitely delightful. Nick Park's claymation does things that haven't been done since the likes of Tim Burton took on the genre, and this type of animation brings about a certain realistic 3-D quality to the picture that other animation generally lacks. Overall it is an achievement and I'm sure Wallace and Gromit will have many other adventures in the future. I will be watching.
