The 40 Year Old Virgin 09/21/05

Quite the movie. As a comedy it's funny. As a romance it's satisfying. My only regret is that since it had built up so much, it didn't seem to need that extra gratuitous slapstick and melodrama in the end. ( i.e. Bicycle accident) Not that that really bothered me. I just thought it wasn't needed. Cahoots to the Carell for making a sex-comedy with heart. This type of film doesn't come along that often. Quite a fresh tomato.
